Milk and Honey is a space created to support your daily walk with God through Scripture. Just as milk nourishes and honey sweetens, we hope this blog offers both strength and delight as you engage with God’s Word each day.
This project is independently created by members of EFKS who follow the Tusi Faitau Aso—the Samoan translation of the Daily Bible Reading Plan developed by IBRA (International Bible Reading Association). While inspired by this plan, Milk & Honey is not affiliated with EFKS or IBRA. We're simply a family of believers who wanted to share helpful, accessible resources with others walking the same journey.
Here, you’ll find:
- Reflections based on each day’s readings
- Visual prompts inspired by key passages
- Summaries and highlights from EFKS newsletters (O Le Sulu Samoa)
- Thoughtful themes to guide prayer and meditation
Though these resources were originally made with our own reading and church community in mind, we warmly welcome anyone seeking to grow deeper in faith and understanding.
The Word is deep and full—every day holds something new. Let’s explore it together.
“They shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord!”
— Psalm 22:26
Why did I start this website?
At EFKS, we're blessed with a reading plan that guides us through the Bible daily. But as my wife and I began to follow it together, we quickly noticed a gap—there just weren't many accessible resources that supported this journey in a way that spoke to our context. So we started creating our own materials, just for our family. Over time, we realized how powerful and enriching it was to have these tools alongside our readings.
Wanting to keep it sustainable and affordable, I began using AI to help us build more resources—not just for us, but for anyone walking this same path. What started in our home has now grown into this space you're visiting today.
This site is called Milk and Honey not just as a nod to Scripture, but as a reflection of its heart. In the Bible, the “land of milk and honey” is a place of abundance, provision, and peace. That’s exactly what I hope this site becomes—a rich, ever-growing repository of reflections, visuals, and tools to nourish your faith journey daily. A digital promised land, not of excess, but of enough: where guidance, inspiration, and encouragement are always within reach.
Why We Use AI?
We chose to use AI to help us create these resources because it’s affordable, fast, and sustainable. Traditional publishing or design work for something like this would require a lot of time, money, and expertise. That kind of overhead often means no resources at all. With AI, we can keep up with the daily reading plan and produce something that feels thoughtful, consistent, and beautifully made—without burning out or breaking the bank.
Of course, we understand the concerns around using AI, especially when it comes to biblical content. What if the information is inaccurate? What if the tone or context is off?
That’s why we’re constantly fine-tuning our workflow and reviewing every piece we produce. We aim to create resources that are generic and accessible—not tied to a specific denomination, but still anchored in Scripture. These studies aren’t meant to replace your Bible or church, but to help spark curiosity, reflection, and deeper conversations around the Word.
We know it’s not perfect—and that’s where you come in.
We invite you to scrutinize and critique these resources. Your insights will help us improve and grow, making this a true community project. Right now, we’re laying the foundation. As the community builds, we hope to find new ways to collaborate, adapt, and create better tools together.
This is a living project, shaped by faith, tech, and the people who use it.
What our future looks like?
We’re still in the early days, but our heart is to eventually open this up. As the community grows, we’d love to hear your thoughts, your feedback, and even your ideas for improving the way we build these resources. Whether it’s pointing out something we missed, suggesting a better way to phrase something, or helping us shape new studies—we want this to be a shared space. A place where we grow together in the Word, supported by tools that are built with love, care, and cultural understanding.
“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
— Colossians 3:16
